National Maritime Dinner

From the Atlantic Youth Trust

Saturday November 23rd

Royal Irish Yacht Club

As an island nation, we cherish the sea and recognise the vital role of the maritime sector in Ireland's economy. Our shipping industry and ports play a significant role, with 85% of traded goods transported by sea. Additionally, ferries are essential for connecting people and goods, as shown during Brexit.

Ireland offers opportunities in the blue economy, including the emerging offshore renewable energy sector. The marine industries have long attracted high-performing industries and multinational companies, and they are intrinsically connected to many of our export markets.

Irish sailing is globally renowned and has hosted top events, making a substantial contribution to our economy and daily life. Both sailing and cruising are crucial to Ireland's success. Let's celebrate our love of the sea and the maritime sector's importance to our future.

The National Maritime Dinner is the event of the season and will be a celebration of both individuals and organisations from across the entire sector.

We look forward to welcoming you to the National Maritime Dinner.
